Holistic Healing Collective
Montgomery Wellness PLLC
By Joni Villemez-Comeaux M.A., LPC, LCDC.
Is your healing journey calling you to go deeper? Beyond the diagnosis. Beyond the emotional reactions. Beyond feeling
stuck. Beyond struggles with your shadow self.
Whether it's biological-in-nature mental illness, trauma-induced, unprocessed emotions or painful memories buried deep, all can wreak
havoc on one's mental, emotional and physical selves. Utilizing a holistic approach can bring about profound meaning, clarity and growth on a deeper level.
Joni's body of work includes many different practices, both clinical and spiritual, originating always, from a present-moment, attuned
experience with her client. All while held in sacred, safe, supportive, non-judgmental presence. This sacred environment allows for
exploration of the inner landscape, shedding light on what no longer serves, which can clear the path for release. This release can
bring about growth on many levels, thus vetting strengths out of painful life experiences, for the purpose of resolve and
empowerment. Joni is most passionate about bringing awareness to and being of Service, with an unshakeable ability to guide clients
to a deeper and stronger sense of Self.
Joni has a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, successful completion of all requirements for Soul Integration Therapy Training, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), Usui Reiki Master/Teacher, Brainspotting facilitator and Adjunct Professor at a local community college. Joni has over 30 years experience participating in and leading intensive, experiential weekends and retreats.
Joni's own healing journey includes 30 years of personal abstinence and sobriety, having begun the process 32 years ago of clawing her way out of her own hell that tried to destroy her. Her greatest gift has been in turning pain to purpose and holding the light for others along the path.
When clients request a deeper experience, from this safe, sacred space, Joni's role is to support and guide clients into shifting to incorporate story-telling with mind-centered, body-centered work. Individuals seek this deeper form of treatment for the same reasons they might look to more traditional talk therapy. When integrating brain-based (mind-centered) and somatic awareness (body -centered) practices, this blend utilizes the powerful connection between body, mind and emotion.
