Reiki Attunements are a traditional spiritual ceremony that tunes the student to Reiki energy. The art of Reiki primarily works with the core logic of life force that flows in the human body. From the perspective of holistic medicine, the basic life force or energy flows through the chakras, and meridians in our bodies.
Reiki level I (called Shoden in Japan) is taught to those who wish to learn to utilize Reiki energy. Reiki I class material includes the hand positions, used when providing Reiki on self and others, the Reiki principles and history of Reiki. You will also be provided education on being a trauma-informed practitioner, blending clinical knowledge with spiritual information. You are then provided the attunement. Once you have received the attunement, you are a Reiki Practitioner.
Reiki level II (called Okuden in Japan) includes the three Reiki symbols for healing, distant healing, symbols use and meanings followed by the attunement ceremony.
Depending on the size of the class, you will also be provided, at minimum, 3 hours of Practicum time to be held one (1) week after attunements.
This Reiki training is trauma-informed, traditional Usui Healing System taught by Joni Villemez-Comeaux, MA, LPC, LCDC, Reiki Master/Teacher, Brainspotting Practitioner.
